Alien Autopsy Podcast

Role: Designer (Freelance)
Client: Alien Autopsy Podcast, Birmingham
Deliverables: Logo, visual identity, web design, social media graphics

Overview

I worked with the Alien Autopsy Podcast team to create a bold, playful visual identity that reflected the show’s sci-fi, conspiracy-driven tone. The target audience was primarily 18–35s with an interest in anime, science fiction and pop culture, so the branding needed to feel energetic, memorable and stand out in crowded podcast platforms.

Challenge

The main challenge was creating a strong identity that worked at small sizes for podcast directories while still feeling characterful and distinctive. The visuals needed to balance fun and creativity with enough polish to feel like a credible production.

My Approach

I explored a range of logo and visual concepts inspired by sci-fi and anime aesthetics, focusing on bold colour, clear typography and strong contrast to ensure impact across platforms. Once the core identity was defined, I applied it consistently across the web design, social media graphics and promotional assets.

Outcome

The final branding captures the personality of the podcast and gives it a recognisable, cohesive look across all touchpoints. The result is a flexible visual identity that stands out in listings and supports ongoing promotion of the show.
