City of Wolverhampton

Role: Junior Designer
Company: Depict Creative, Wolverhampton
Client: Wolverhampton City Council & Enjoy Wolverhampton
Deliverables: Posters, digital adverts, social media graphics, event and campaign artwork

Overview

While working as a Junior Designer at Depict Creative, I supported Wolverhampton Council and the Enjoy Wolverhampton team on a range of campaign and promotional design work. The project involved applying the city’s recently refreshed brand while also integrating the Enjoy Wolverhampton identity across multiple outputs.

The Challenge

The City of Wolverhampton already had an established brand at the time, so the challenge was to work within existing guidelines rather than redefining them. The designs needed to feel consistent with the council’s visual identity while also incorporating the more vibrant and promotional Enjoy Wolverhampton branding

My Approach

Working under the art direction of my director at the time, I focused on accurately applying brand guidelines across both print and digital deliverables. This included producing posters, digital adverts, social media graphics and event artwork, ensuring consistency in layout, typography and colour across all materials.

Outcome

The final assets supported city-wide campaigns and local initiatives, helping deliver clear and cohesive visual communication across channels. This project strengthened my experience working within established brand systems and collaborating within a studio environment on public-sector campaigns.
